SCHOOL GROUPS
We are excited to be offering not only dog sled trips, but snowshoeing trips as well as customized combo trips
for school groups. This allows not only for more customized programming during trips, but introduces a lower
price point trip that we hope will allow more school groups to take advantage of the
Snow Forest Adventures winter experience!
There is nothing we love more than sharing our passion for the outdoors with school groups!
Whether your group chooses dog sledding, showshoeing, or both, our trips will make use of our fully stocked, permanent winter camps in Algonquin Park. Travel will take place on our intricate network of well established trails, and groups will sleep comfortably in our heated Prospector style canvas tents built on platforms designed to keep warm bodies up off the cold ground. Your group will come together as a community, living and traveling in the bush. They will form work groups and work together as a team to get settled into camp, collect water, organize and cook meals as well care for the dogs and each other.

This hands-on experience will not only teach them valuable wilderness skills, but strengthen their relationships with one another.

*Please note that due to the rugged backcountry nature of our trails, we require anyone driving a dogsled to be 16 years old or older. This is for both the safety of participants and our dogs.

Please contact us for sample trip itineraries, rates and available dates.

We'd love to build a trip for your group!
